At Block 846 in Yishun on 25 May (Wednesday), a man who claimed to be a security officer was caught on video for apparently challenging a shopkeeper to a fight.

It seems that the security officer clad in black had informed the shopkeeper not to place the shop’s fixtures and fittings beyond the demarcated lines.

According to the man who recorded the video, the officer began to argue with the shopkeeper instead of talking to him politely.

The security officer threw his bag and lanyard on the floor before shouting aggressively at the shopkeeper.

The officer challenged the shopkeeper to hit him. The shopkeeper replied, “I don’t want to hit you, it’s you who want to hit me.”

The security officer then left the scene after a crowd begin to form.

A police report has been made.
