PINOY STUDENT COMPLAINS SG EDUCATION SYSTEM IS UNFAIR, BIASED TOWARD LOCALS WITH WORSE RESULTS

Dear All Singapore Stuff,

Please see the screenshots attached.

This Pinay Singapore permanent resident, Marianne Beltran, said that it is very unfair that Singapore has quotas on the number of foreigners who are admitted into Singapore’s local universities. She claimed that it is not meritocratic and she feels frustrated when she sees less capable Singaporeans get into the course she wants. She made these comments on the hardwarezone forum, using the account “[email protected]”. She wants Singaporeans to know that they should not be ignorant to other peoples’ woes just because they are benefiting from an unfair system.

Netizens were able to CSI the Pinay and found that she had been studying in Singapore from young and she graduated from Serangoon JC in 2014. Her facebook is here: https://www.facebook.com/marianne.beltran.14

Is this pinay demanding too much from Singapore? Isn’t it enough that our government has given her a house and an education?

It is not Singaporeans’ fault that she did not meet the university admission criteria for the course she wants.

Perhaps the pinay should work harder instead of complaining about how unfair the Singapore system is.
