One such case happened to my friend who stayed on the 4th floor. The snake must have climbed up from the sewage pipe line and hid inside the toilet bowl. Luckily he poured hot boiling water and called pest control

So do b careful esp during this v hot weather, snakes have no where to escape the heat so they slither into sewage to hide..
