NETIZEN MAY HAVE DISCOVERED REASON FOR FREQUENT FLOODS IN TANJONG PAGAR

Our reader sent us these photos after he investigated a series of clogged drains in Tanjong Pagar. We think he may have just discovered the true reason why the roads there become flooded with rainwater so frequently.

Read his account here.

“Hi ,

I m not too sure which department to alert these choked or blocked drainage on the viaduct at Tanjung Pagar.

I went through ten drain sump n all ten r choked.

The viaduct is over a km long n during heavy rain water couldn’t get drained off swift enough causing vehicles to run over pools of water n splashing to opposite carriageway n probably down to road users below.

Authorities must hv overlooked these maintainance.”
