Anyone from kuo chuan presbyterian remember an episode of mass hysteria back in 2000s? Reading on the recent malaysia mass hysteria case reminded me of an incident happened at Kuo Chuan Presbyterian High School.
if i remember correctly, many students(mostly girls i think) from a class(ground floor) got an image of a female ghost when they closed their eyes. it caused them unable to study and somewhat hysteria about it. the rumors of it spread like wildfire and caused unrest among the school.
as a christian school, we had a chapel and a inhouse pastor, invited the pastor to the classroom to do cleansing and ‘blessed’ the students affected, thereafter not much info on that incident and nobody dared asked too.
heard prior to that, some students from other class play ouijia board at that classroom as its located at ground floor and accessible after school. also bishan was a burial ground for japanese occupation. it was back in around year 2002 at bishan before it moved out for renovation and back again after a few years.
