ARE SINGAPOREANS UNGRACIOUS BASTARDS? 130 COMPLAINTS ABT NOT GIVEN SIT ON PUBLIC TRANSPORT

During a Parliamentary session on 5 April, Member of Parliament, Dr Lee Bee Wah informed that SMRT and SBS had received over 130 complains in a span of 3 years with regard to commuters who had refused to give up their seats.

Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure & Minister for Transport, Mr Khaw Boon Wan informed that the Land Transport Authority and Public Transport Council are working towards creating awareness on graciousness, with emphasis on giving up seats to the pregnant, needy or elderly.
