NO STUDYING SIGN IN CAFES DO NOT STOP STUDENTS FROM STUDYING EVEN ON BUSY WEEKENDS

Dear A.S.S,

I am writing to complain abt ppl hogging seats in cafes such as Starbucks & Coffee Bean.

Last Sat afternoon, even tho it was a weekend, I had a lot of difficulties getting a seat coz many ppl were taking up whole tables by themslves w laptops and books. Tables for two were occupied by one pax & laptop. When I asked if I cld share a table most of them turned me dwn, saying that the seat was occupied. All I saw on the other chair were bags, books and laptop case. Feels like I walked into a library instead of a cafe!

Since it was a weekend, it shd be a given that these cafes would be packed with ppl. Don’t understand why students just hog the tables and spend the day studying there. Often, I see them leave their bags on the seats in the cafe and disappear before coming back.

What’s the point of putting up these signs when ppl just dont care abt it?
