BEDOK TOWN COUNCIL PUTS UP WARNING NOTES, HOPING NOBODY IS KILLED BY SLOPE UPGRADES?

Dear Editors,

After your previous article raising awareness for silly obstacles placed at a HDB slope to prevent cyclists from zipping down dangerous but inconvenienced wheelchair users as a result, the Town Council has made some further silly rectifications.

“Small barriers have been erected on a sheltered path way at BLK 100+ in Bedok North Ave 4. Perhaps the authorities wanted to prevent cyclists or e-bikers to speed. However, this brings great inconvenience to wheelchair users.”

“This is a follow up of the progress at the slope leading to an overhead bridge at bedok north bk 101. Town council is determined to kill somebody. Today add more small little warning notes to residents. Do you think people will even notice the notice?”
