While heading to school today, I saw a lower secondary school boy counting his coins near an escalator of a MRT station. He looked worried so I wanted to approach him and ask if he needed money to head home.
While I was inching towards him, he moved in the direction of this handicapped lady on a wheelchair, selling tissues. I stopped next to him, thinking that he may be asking the lady for a few more cents since there was no one else around.
Then he said in Mandarin/English , “Auntie, this is all I have left for today. You can have it. I don’t need the tissue.” “Thank you thank you ah boy, very nice of you. May god bless you ah boy.”
He smiled and walked away in an opposite direction. Kudos to you boy!
