Dear All Singapore Stuff,

Sian.. I confirm kena call up for police investigation.

I was having reunion dinner with pri school friends last night. And we decided to prank one of our friends.. We put a drop of tobasco into his beer. After the dinner session, we found out that he went to the counter and left his contact details as well as writing a letter that he suspects that people spiked his drink. After the outing just now, he messaged the group and quote penal code 224 section 328. He said he reported police already…

The thing is.. He was smoking so group of us decided to just put 1 drop. 17 yrs of friendship. Ha.. What a joke.

So this is what he quoted.. Correction under “chapter” To whom it may concern incident happened on 7.2.2016 between 1.20am to 1.30am at “blooie’s roadhouse” located at (the rail mall 426/428 Upper Bukit Timah road) alleged spike the drink “beer” brand heineken of mine, I would like to highlight to the person whom it may concern you may face the music Of your action under the following “constitution of republic of Singapore” I shall reserved my rights in accordance. Chapter 224 section 328 Causing hurt by means of poison, etc., with intent to commit an offence 328. Whoever administers to, or causes to be taken by, any person any poison or any stupefying, intoxicating or unwholesome drug or other thing, with intent to cause hurt to such person, or with intent to commit or to facilitate the commission of an offence, or knowing it to be likely that he will thereby cause hurt, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 10 years, and shall also be liable to fine or to caning.

So I just admitted and apologize but I’m cool with the reporting. Don’t wish to drag the entire group down.

The bar manager just called the whole lot of us. My that “friend”” left our contacts with him.

Police reported. CCTV underway by police. But really can any lawyer here advice?

Whats my next step? I know most prolly will be called up for investigation. Then he will prolly pursue this as civil legal case.
