TAXI DRIVER SPED OFF WITH OUR GROCERIES, SMRT SAYS THEY FOUND NO WRONG-DOING

On 4th Februrary, my aunt and my family went to the market. We bought $150 worth of groceries, including seafood, vege, my kid’s new clothes and fruit and were about to go home. This was 1 month’s worth of spending for our family’s cooking needs.

We took 2 separate taxis, My aunt took a maroon SMRT taxi from Jurong West St 41 taxi stand nearby blk 492, travelled to her place blk 648C, Jurong West ST 61.

As soon as my aunt alighted with my baby, the taxi suddenly sped off without caring for her safety, even after she told the driver that she has many items in the car boot! The driver was so fast, my aunt could not even get his plate num….

When we called smrt hotline to look for our belongings, we were told by the customer service that “no such thing” happened and the groceries cannot be found. obviously someone took it.
