BATCHES OF WASH-N-TOSS SALAD RECALLED DUE TO SALMONELLA

According to an alert by the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) today, selected batches of Wash N Toss salad have been recalled due to Salmonella contamination.

Customers who purchased packets with the batch codes 29116, 48103, 85121, 27864, 29472, 13362, 11925, 51226 and 59462 should discard it. These packages have the expiry date of 14th Feb and contain the following mix of vegetables – watercress, sorrel, baby cos, baby spinach, salad mix, wild rocket and kale.

The AVA added that it has also instructed importers to recall the implicated products, and that the recall has been completed.
