Dear ASS Editors,
If you drive down Chinatown, you will see a beautiful sight as you past Masjid Chulia. Outside the mosque, there is a huge banner wishing our S’porean Chinese a Happy Chinese New Year!
Where else in the world can you see such a kind gesture from different race and communities? Who dare say our Singaporean Muslims are growing distant? This is perfect example why there is harmony in Singapore between Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian!
I feel so proud to be Singaporean, hope all our races and religions will continue stay together in good harmony and happy new year to all. Have a good public holiday rest for those who do not celebrate CNY.
