After reading that Kong Hee is allowed to travel overseas on condition of a $1.5 million bail, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Who in the right mind will allow Kong Hee, the main culprit in the CHC scandal to travel out of Singapore?
This is ridiculous. None of these convicts should be allowed to travel at all with all their passports surrendered. I do not know what is the basis that the judge is allowing KH to travel at all. Isn’t this giving him an opportunity to jump bail? What is 1.5mil when he has made so much money working as a prosperity pastor?
In fact, the authorities should start asking questions how he can afford such indecently lavish life style and accommodations if he and the gang did not benefit from $50 million sum in question. They should also find out how a pastor can afford a $1.5 million bail money. Ask ourselves honestly, how many pastors can fork out such huge monies?
