20 year-old Neil Christian Alejandro Casiano was jailed 2 weeks yesterday after pleading guilty to cheating Singaporeans and molesting a 16 year-old local girl.
According to the court proceedings, the Filipino arrived in Singapore on a social visit pass on 27th October this year with the aim of cheating Singaporeans by posing as a representative of Childhope Asia. When she declined, he took her aside and started to preach to her about religion. She relented and gave $2, after which he had her take a selfie of the two of them together at his request.
Suddenly, Neil hugged her from the side and brought his face very close to hers.
The girl managed to push him aside and left. She later related the incident to her mother and they reported it to the police.
