PARIS HIT BY MULTIPLE TERROR ATTACKS, AT LEAST 120 CIVILIANS DEAD

After more than 120 people were killed in gun shootings and bomb attacks in Paris, France declared a national state of emergency and closed its borders. The most severe attack occured at the Bataclan concert hall where at least a 100 civilians were killed.

Heavily-armed gunmen took many hostages in the hall before being overpowered by police. Many others were killed in a suicide attack near the Stade de France and during gun attacks on multiple city restaurants. 5 gunmen have been reported killed in the exchange of fire.

Parisians have been asked to stay indoors and about 1,500 military personnel are being deployed across the city. Speaking from the Bataclan concert hall, French President Francois Hollande said “the attackers would be fought without mercy”.
