SECONDARY STUDENT DIES AFTER RETURNING FROM CHINA TRIP

A 15-year-old secondary 3 student was pronounced dead at the hospital after he suffered from severe vomiting and diarrhea. The student had just returned home from a school trip to Shanghai, China. Zheng Ding Yuan is a student at Catholic High who enjoyed outdoor activities. He is an only son residing with his mother in the Bishan area.

The deceased parents and grandfather were solemn as the boy’s father Mr Tsang (50 years old) held onto his son’s school uniform while waiting to collect the body outside the mortuary.

Mr Tsang said in an interview that his son had went on school trip to Shanghai and without reason, he began to fall sick on 4 Nov.
