DEAR ICA, I LOST MY NRIC BECAUSE I WAS ROBBED, WHY PENALIZE ME FOR LOST IC!?

Our reader was recently a victim of snatch theft in Johor Bahru last month, but to make matters worse, the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) has refused to show any compassion and has insisted on penalizing the victim for a lost IC.

I was robbed(snatch theft) on 22oct2015 at johor bahru.

This incident really make me Traumatised till now.

I have make a report at johor and singapore police.

Now when im back to singapore to make a new passport and i.c i get really disappointed

Immigration officer told me that i have been banned for 1yrs because this is my 2nd lost

But this is not lost its a snatch theft.

Do you think is fair for me?
