27 YEAR-OLD BRITISH NATIONAL WHO JUMPED INTO F1 TRACK CHARGED

News reports have finally revealed the nationality of the 27 year-old man, who was arrested during the F1 event on Sunday when he crossed into the F1 night race track, prompting panicked responses from F1 officials.

The British national, who was captured on camera as he walked along the track while the race was ongoing, was arrested for committing a “rash act” and was charged in court this morning.

CCTV footage released hours after the race showed him entering via a gap in the fence. He then crossed the track and walked against the flow of traffic before climbing back over the barrier.

At least one driver, runner-up Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull, said the man’s intrusion affected the outcome of the race.
