COE FOR CARS ON THE RISE AGAIN

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums for cars rose again at the end of this month’s bidding exercise.

Category A cars (1600cc and below) closed at S$57,498, up from S$56,209 from 2 weeks ago.

Category B cars (1600cc and above) rose to S$62,140, from S$60,789.

Open category COEs, which can be used for any vehicle type, rose to S$61,001 from S$57,885.

Motorcycle COEs closed at S$6,112, a slight decrease from S$6,201.

The biggest drops came from COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, fell to S$46,501 from S$49,302.
