Tio scam! Check your 50 cents change!

Not the first time already. Was having lunch at a coffee shop in Bishan yesterday and didn’t not check my change carefully. Ended up with 1 rmb (PRC currency) as my 50 cents change.

Quick check with my colleague and found that it is quiet common.

Remember to check your change.
