The Ministry of Education announced on Tuesday that all teachers are set to get an increment from between 4 to 9% in their monthly salaries. Up to 30,000 educators are eligible for this round of salary adjustments.
A special payment sum of $500 to $700 will also be paid out to all trained Education Officers as a form of recognition.
The Allied Educators Scheme for Allied Educators will also be similarly enhanced. The graduate and non-graduate salary structures for AEDs will be merged and all AEDs will get 5% increment in salary from 1 October 2015. Up to 800 AEDs are eligible for this salary adjustments.
