MALAYSIAN PM NAJIB RAZAK TO ATTEND SINGAPORE’S SG50 NDP PARADE

Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak will undertake a working visit to Singapore on Sunday to attend the island republic’s 50th National Day Parade.

Najib is accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor and other senior government officials.

Under Najib’s stewardship, Malaysia and Singapore enjoy warm and cordial relations. Both countries are committed to cooperation in various sectors including trade, investment, social, education, defence and security.

Singapore was Malaysia’s second largest trading partner globally in 2014 and total trade hit RM194.52 billion. This year marks the 50th year of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and its southern neighbour.

This year also marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Singapore.
