S’POREANS RUSH TO ESCAPE S’PORE DESPITE MINISTER’S COUNTLESS PLEAS TO STAY FOR SG50

Dear ASS,

Check out the traffic cameras for the causeways. Despite all the talk from our Ministers urging Singaporeans to stay in SG to celebrate SG50 during this super long weekend, the causeways are jammed packed.

Nobody seems to give a two hoots about what our Ministers request us to do. As a learned kaki says, “Ministers don’t listen to the people. People don’t listen to ministers. Its all fair.”

Do you feel the same way too? Or are Singaporeans just too practical to pay heed to the elaborate celebrations for SG50?
