SMRT STAFF ILLEGAL PARKED LEXUS AT PUBLIC BUS STOP FOR OFFICIAL BUSINESS

Dear ASS,

A netizen Wei Chong spotted this ridiculous scene along a public bus stop. He spotted a Lexus car parked like a boss in the bus bay.

Most puzzling of all is the notification card inside the car informing the public that the driver is an SMRT staff on official duty, if any emergency then call him.

Is this legal? Can SMRT staff illegal park for official reasons? Can LTA or Traffic Police clarify the use of such "official" notifications?
