AMOS YEE: HARD WORK DOESN’T ENSURE SUCCESS, YOU NEED TO HAVE BRAINS

No no, just because you came all the way from Hong Kong doesn’t mean you’re somehow more worthy of scoring an interview with me.

Good try though, great tenacity.

Unfortunately hard work, determination, as is reality (non-bitter, mildly lukewarm), do not and aren’t the factors that allows one to attain success.

You need intelligence, creativity, tact, I learnt that after discovering the absolutely futility of mindlessly doing assessment books 8 hours a day for months and getting an approximate 82% Maths average, only to find out that one of my peers got the same results by cramming for the last 2 days(with the possible assistance of amphetamine and Ice).
