A 39 year old man went mad after an argument with his step father over buying dinner. Afterwhich he started hacking his step-father on the back with a chopper found from the kitchen. After his violent attack, he then jumped to his death at Blk 126 Geylang East Avenue 1.
The single Singaporean deceased named Ah Zhong was last seen arguing loudly with his step-father who was sick and wanted him to buy dinner for the family.
In a fit of anger, he went to the kitchen to take a chopper and start chasing after his step-father who tried to ran away. Ah Zhong hacked his step-father multiple times on his back then jumped off his HDB flat in front of his wheelchair-bound mother. His step-father is still receiving treatment at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
