In a statement today, the Singapore Police Force said that it had arrested a serial molester who had allegedly molested 2 underaged girls while riding on buses travelling along Bukit Batok Central.
On 26th May at about 5.51PM, a 15 year-old girl lodged a report with the police about a man who molested her in a bus ride along Bukit Batok Central. A similar case was reported by another 14 year-old girl who was also molested by the same suspect on the same bus.
Officers from Jurong Police Division and Police Public Transport Security command commenced investigations to identify and apprehend the suspect. He was arrested on 25th June at about 10AM at Chinatown MRT.
The suspect will be charged in court on 27th June for outrage of modesty. If convicted, he faces up to 2 years, jail, caning or any combination of the 3.
