POLICE APPREHEND 20 YEAR-OLD YOUTH IN SENG KANG WHO ATTACKED POLICEMAN

A short video of a 20 year-old youth who had allegedly tried to break free from police custody was uploaded by a netizen recently.
 
The video showed policemen chasing after a youth who had attempted to flee from police custody.
 
According to eye witnesses, police first apprehended the youth for causing a scene at an overhead bridge in Seng Kang, but the suspect tried to break free twice while being brought to a police car. While trying to escape, he even attacked a police officer.
 
He was chased down and subdued at the top of an overhead bridge by about 5 policemen. After subduing the youth, 2 policemen continued to pin down the youth while the other police officers stood around.
