SABAH MINISTER: 11 PEOPLE FOUND DEAD ON KINABALU, AT LEAST 8 MISSING

The Sabah Minister of Tourism Masidi Manjun announced on Twitter that 11 people have been found dead with another 8 still missing.

Mr Masidi also confirmed that one of the dead is a 12-year-old Singapore schoolgirl from Tanjong Katong Primary School.

In an earlier update on Saturday morning (Jun 6), Mr Masidi said that 137 climbers have been rescued, with the last batch arriving at 2.50am.

At 12.20pm today, the Education Ministry said in a press release that a 12-year-old male student from Tanjong Katong Primary School has been found. Another seven students and two teachers are still missing.
