WIFE OF MAN SHOT BY POLICE: WHAT THE POLICE DID WAS RIGHT BUT UNFAIR TO ME

When interviewed by the media, Ms Nassida Nasir, wife of Mohamed Taufik Zahar who was shot dead by police was visibly tired and at a loss. She opened up on her relationship with her husband and shared how they met.

They met in a nightclub where she worked as a dancer and he as a bouncer. However, after their relationship became serious, they stopped partying and enjoyed the company of one another at home.

They got married two months ago after their daughter was born. Even though Taufik faced the prospect of jail time, they were determined to start a new life once he finished his sentence.

On that fateful night, she had a quarrel with Taufik and he stormed off at midnight with her rented subaru car. This was even though he did not have a driver’s license.

Nassida lamented that her daughter will no longer have a father to see her grow up but stopped short of criticising the police like she did in her previous Facebook post.

Instead, she said that even though this situation was unfair to her, she thinks that what the police did was right.
