After our article on a 4-year old girl who goes door to door to beg for food went viral, we were glad to see kind-hearted Singaporeans leaving comments on our Facebook page, website and leaving messages in our e-mail who are willing to volunteer their time and donate funds to help the child.
We also saw one kind lady Fion Phua who left comments and photos on our Facebook page to assure kind hearted Singaporeans that the child’s needs were attended to. Madam Phua is the founder of private volunteer group Keeping Hope Alive. She has been coordinating efforts with various grassroot and governmental organisations to ensure the welfare of the child and family were being looked into.
Other readers have confirmed that help is being rendered to the child’s family
