The Singapore Police Force confirmed on Wednesday evening that a full-time Police NSman was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head. He was discovered inside a locked security post in the Tanglin area in the morning.
The 20-year-old reported for duty the night before that about 8pm and drew his service revolver from the armoury before proceeding for his duty. When he was discovered, the service revolver was lying beside him. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at about 7.50am.
The case has been classified as “unnatural death”, and that police are investigating. No foul play is suspected.
