CYCLIST UNHAPPY HE CANNOT BRING FOLDABLE BIKE ONTO MRT DURING PEAK HOUR

Dear Editors,

I saw this post by a cyclist complaining about SMRT’s policy on bringing fold-able bicycles onto the trains. Cyclists are currently are free to bring their fold-able bikes onto the trains everyday except for peak hours during weekdays. This cyclist thinks SMRT’s policy is stupidity at its best and it does not help keep the environment green.

What he fail to understand is, foldable bike takes up space and if they are allowed onto the train during peak period, less people will be able to board the trains! Is this selfish cyclist too blind to see this simple logic?

You want to be healthy and save the environment, why don’t you cycle home? Why need to take MRT? Save the space for those who just wish to faster reach home instead?

Sometimes I really don’t understand these bicycle warriors, too dense to understand common sense and think for the convenience of other commuters. It’s all about ME, ME and ME..
