After dating for four years, a man proposed to his girlfriend on her birthday with a “bouquet” of chilli crab and brocolli, and she said yes.
On 7th May, 23 year-old Mr Lim got down on one knee at the Skypark in VivoCity, flashed out a diamond ring as well as the chilli crab and broccoli, and and proposed to his 22-year-old girlfriend Ms Lai.
More than a hundred close friends and family members of the couple gathered to witness the touching proposal, which left Ms Lai shocked and visibly touched.
Mr Lim said that they have been really close friends since about seven years ago, and started dating four years ago.
