Just a day after he was convicted and released on bail, Singapore’s internet sensation Amos Yee is causing tsunamis in cyberspace. This time by alleging that he had been molested by Mr Vincent Law, the counsellor who posted $20,000 bail for him at a time when his parents would not.
When contacted by members of the Press, Mr Vincent Law flatly denied Yee’s allegations and called them “false”. Law added that he “deny this very serious and false allegation that Amos has made. I have no idea why he would say that.”
Yee’s lawyer Alfred Dodwell was equally perplexed and surprised at Yee’s surprise allegation against his ex-bailor. Dodwell said that Yee had never mentioned the matter of himself or his team of lawyers who were representing him pro-bono.
It is unclear how counsellor Vincent Law would respond to these serious allegations. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
