PREGNANT WOMEN & OLD PEOPLE ON MRT HAVE A RUDE SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT

Dear Editors,

I saw your previous article about PRC ladies snatching seats from an old lady and want to share with you the other side of story. These group of "needy" people can also be very rude and have a arrogant sense of entitlement.

If they ask nicely, I will consider but sometimes they are just plain rude and act like pricks.

After night shift or after a tiring day, like any others I sometimes dozed off in train.

Many times I have been awaken up by walking sticks or a slap on the body.

When i open my eyes, the next thing i hear is old uncle or auntie scolding me, " wake up wake up…its my seat, oi cant you see the picture, its for old ppl…get up".

We are human, we are tired too, does being old give you the right to be rude about it? At least have courtesy to wake people up and ask nicely right?
