The Land Transport Authority [LTA] announced yesterday 27 April 2015 that 9 Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) gantries will see rates increase by S$1 from next Monday after its quarterly review of traffic conditions.

Each of the three gantries along the city-bound Ayer-Rajah Expressway (AYE) after Jurong Town Hall will start charging S$1 between 7am and 7.30am. There is no charge currently.

In the opposite direction on the AYE, motorists passing the gantry after North Buona Vista Road will also have to pay S$1 from 7pm to 7.30pm, up from no charge.

The last ERP gantry that will start charging again is the one on the Central Expressway (CTE) before Braddell Road towards the city. Between 8.30am and 9am, motorists will have to pay S$1. But between 8am and 8.30am, those entering the CTE from Braddell Road and the Pan-Island Expressway slip road will have to pay S$4 for the set of four gantries. The ERP rate currently is S$3. ERP rates for the other gantries will remain unchanged.

The next ERP review will be done in May for the June school holidays.
