ANG MOH FINED FOR BARGING INTO SMRT TRAIN DRIVER CABIN

36 year-old Peter Anthony Kampos was fined $600 after pleading guilty in court on Wednesday to two offences under the Rapid Transit Systems Regulations on March 16.

He had pushed the emergency exit panel on an SMRT train driver’s cabin and barged into the cabin.

The court heard that Kampos boarded the crowded west-bound SMRT train at about 6.30pm that day.

Wanting to get away from the crowd, he noticed the emergency exit panel of the driver’s cabin at the rear end of the train and decided to push into the cabin.
