MOVING IMAGES FROM LKY’S STATE FUNERAL AND PROCESSION

In tribute to the late Lee Kuan Yew, the first prime minister of Singapore, A.S.S. has compiled another list of moving images from LKY's final day state funeral and procession.

In these pictures, Singaporeans are shown queuing up and braving the storm that struck parts of central Singapore just as the procession to shift LKY to his penultimate destination begun. The effect of the rain on Singaporeans and their determination to stand their ground was no less dramatic than the day it rained on our National Day Parade so many years ago.

Lining the streets…

Braving the rains…

Bidding farewell…

Goodnight, Mr Lee.
