I believe he could had done so many things that will put Singapore in an even better place, but he didn’t, not because he couldn’t, not because he wouldn’t but because he had the citizen’s feelings in consideration.
Everybody has a chance, and at the end of the day, nobody owes you a living. Not your parents, not your boss, and most certainly not your government.
Don’t blame the government if you are suffering, you only have yourself to blame.
Often the most successful people, had the worst of situations and conditions set to them, whilst the people that finds somebody to blame, will forever live in torture and misery just because they wouldn’t reflect on who’s truly to blame.
I think Singapore will have to wake up from their sense of entitlement and treasure what they already have and stop complaining what you don’t have, if not, he would had given his life for nothing.
