A Singapore Airlines flight from Milan to Singapore was diverted to New Delhi because of a drunk passenger on board.
A spokesperson for the airline confirmed that flight SQ367 was diverted to Delhi on Thursday (Mar 19).
Singapore Airlines did not give further details of the incident.
A member of the public, Louis Young, emailed Channel NewsAsia on Friday, saying the flight was diverted to Delhi due to an “abusive Italian passenger”, and adding that the flight’s inflight supervisor and chief steward were assaulted, and that the inflight supervisor’s knee was “bleeding”.
