PLASTIC FACTORY CATCHES FIRE AT TANJONG PENJURU

A fire broke out yesterday at a plastic manufacturing factory, Singapore Highpolymer Chemical Products Pte Ltd, at Tanjong Penjuru yesterday night.

The fire started at about 8.30pm. Fire fighters were still at the scene at around 11pm as smoke covered the factory and nearby buildings.

According to one witness, there were 2 fire bikes, 2 red rhinos and 15 fire engines at the scene.
