POLICE CAR PARKED ILLEGALLY BY ROADSIDE CAUSING PEAK HOUR OBSTRUCTION

Dear editors,

This morning 6 March 2015 between 7:45 to 8:00am I saw a police car QX525A parked irresponsibly by the road side. I know that they may be attending to case but I want to highlight a few points which I feel could be improved on.

1) The police flouted their own traffic rules and parked on double yellow line.

2) By parking at that narrow road, it became an obstacle for traffic during peak hour.

3) The policemen did not bother to switch on their hazard light and did not have the sense to park closer to the kerb.

4) There is a carpark very near to this location.

I hope the police will look into this incident and improve in future. Even if they have to park illegally by the road side, at least on their hazard light to alert other drivers.
