18 YEAR-OLD STUDENT CHARGED WITH BEATING UP FOREIGN WORKERS WHO WERE SMALLER SIZED THAN HIM

An 18 year old student Daryl Lim Jun Liang has pleaded guilty to assaulting 48 years-old Chinese national Zuo Yu Nian near Block 289, Yishun Avenue 6 at around 6am on 3rd October last year.

He had three accomplices – Tan Jun Liang, also 18, and two 15 year-old boys who cannot be named due to their age.

A second assault charge, stating that the four teenagers bashed 27 year-old Indian national Selvaraj Madankumar on 21 September last year will be taken into account during sentencing on 12th March.
