Passengers on a flight that was bound to Nanning had a scare recently.
A PRC man boarded the plane, walked to the emergency exit and forced the door opened. He then sat down and stared blankly.
When security officials demanded the man to explain his actions, he replied “The door is not important”.
No other passengers in the plane attempted to stop this man.
The man’s act caused the flight to be delayed for almost an hour.
The latest incident follows a series of PRC passengers opening plane emergency doors.
In January 2015, two PRC passengers on a domestic flight in China were detained after opening the plane’s emergency doors to protest a lengthy delay in take-off.
In 2012, a female PRC passenger on a flight to Hainan opened the emergency exit door because she mistaken it for the door to the toilet.
Do you think more can be done to educate these PRC passengers who are endangering lives of other passengers?
