SINGAPORE POLICE INVESTIGATING DEATH THREATS MADE AGAINST LEE HSIEN LOONG

A police report has been filed following several threats made to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, said a police spokesperson on Sunday (Feb 8), adding that “investigations are ongoing”.

The threats were posted on a Facebook page on Feb 6.

In one of the posts, the writer threatened to shoot the Prime Minister. Another post alleged that a bomb had been left in Changi Airport.

The posts had tagged Mr Lee, as well as the Singapore Police Force.
