TEENAGER WHO WAS UNHAPPY WITH PAP GETS 15 MONTHS PROBATION

A 18-year old teenager who was accused of abetting a rooftop vandalism case in Toa Payoh was order to undergo 15 months of probation and 80 hours of community service on Monday.

David Wiliam Graaskov had pleaded guilty to three charges – theft of four spray cans and criminal trespass at Marina Bay Suites and a construction site in Balestier.

His four other accomplices will appear in court this Wednesday.

The group had stolen spray cans from a lorry in Toa Payoh on 6 May 2014 before they agreed to spray the rooftop of Block 85A at Toa Payoh Lorong 4 with anti-PAP messages.

But Graaskov did not take part in the spraying because he had to catch the last bus home.

Investigation showed that he was also involved in trespassing into the Marina Bay Suites condominium on March last year as well as the construction site in Jalan Rajah sometime between October and December 2013.
