The result is based on a study conducted by Economist Intelligent Unit (EIU) on 50 cities across 5 continents. It was judged on four indexes: digital safety, healthcare safety, infrastructure safety and personal safety.
Singapore scored the highest in personal safety with 90.42 points but performed badly in healthcare safety.
The safest city in the world is Tokyo.
