Based on a Land Transport Authority announcement Wednesday morning (14 Jan 2015), there will be 4,705 COEs up for bidding every month from Feb – April. This is a 18.3% jump in supply from previous months.
The supply of car COEs will rose the most to 3,766 per month and this is more than double the supplThere will be 4,705 certificates of entitlement (COEs) up for grabs per month from February to April – 18.3 per cent more than the supply in the previous three-month period.
Of the lot, the supply of car COEs (including Open) will rise 23 per cent to 3,766 per month. This is more than double the supply as compared to the corresponding period last year.
This increase in COE supply is expected to persist for the next 2 to 3 years and LTA expects COE premiums to fall in the coming months.
